Cuckoo Clocks on tour.

The Cuckoo Clocks I made for the 'Enchanted Forest' show at Strychnin Gallery last month have now gone down to be part of a show in the museum 'Musei Civici' in Reggio Emilia, Italy. This is a super interesting show with all the artworks exhibited amongst the natural history section and are surrounded by old school taxidermy.
The Show will run for the remainder of the month. Some info below.......
Also, I never really do plugs on this blog, but ;) if you are are unaware of the artist on the flyer below, her name is Mimi.S. She is a fellow Strychnin artist and SUPER talented at what she does. You may recognise her work from the cover of the new Juxtapoz book. She is still finishing off her website but you can see a bit more of her work here.

Manbot under construction

For the past month I've been working on a a robot for the 'Gentle Giants' show being held at Strychnin Gallery in July. I wanted to try and re-create 'Manbot' which was a print I did back in 2007. Below are a few 'making of' pics. I should have it finally completed later in the week, so watch this space for final pics soon.

'Retired Wrestlers' Framed.

New Zealand gallery 'Eyeball kicks' sent me these pics showing how they are framing up my 'Retired Wrestler' prints. They always do an amazing job at framing up my work in interesting ways. Cheers Monique and Calvin!
